Copyright Policy for DavidKeyes.com
You’ll find designs, ideas, and content that are the result of my passion, hard work, and a whole lot of coffee. While I love sharing my work with the world, I also need to protect it. This Copyright Policy lays out the dos and don’ts when it comes to using or sharing the awesome stuff you see here.
1. So, Like, Who Owns This Awesome Stuff?
Spoiler alert—it’s me! All the content on davidkeyes.com (including but not limited to designs, images, text, logos, videos, and graphics) is created by yours truly, David Keyes, and is protected by copyright laws. Now, my clients truly own the art work, as well. It was made for them. But I get to showcase it and the graphics and digital assets on this site, well, those belong to me. Unless stated otherwise, I own it all. By visiting my site, you’re agreeing to respect these rights and not misuse my hard work. And if you do… 1. Shame on you. 2. You know what’s gonna happen… Mmmmhmmm.
2. How Can You Use My Work?
I’m flattered you’d like to use or share my content! Here’s how you can do it the right way:
- Share, But Give Credit: Feel free to share my work on social media, blogs, or other platforms as long as you include credit (e.g., “Design by David Keyes” with a link to my site).
- Seek Permission for Bigger Things: Want to use my work in a commercial project, marketing campaign, or for anything beyond personal inspiration? Drop me a line first. Written permission is required for any uses outside of browsing and sharing for non-commercial purposes.
- No Tweaking Allowed: Please don’t modify, edit, or claim my work as your own—it’s not cool, and it’s against the rules.
Basically, if you’re unsure whether you need my OK, just ask! I promise—it’s painless.
3. What’s Not Allowed? (aka "The Don’ts")
Certain actions cross the line, so here’s what not to do with my content:
- Don’t reproduce my work without permission.
- Don’t use it for profit-making ventures without my prior approval.
- Don’t upload my designs or images to other sites or platforms as if they’re yours.
These rules exist so I can continue creating freely, knowing my hard work is respected.
4. Found an Issue? Reporting Copyright Infringements
I take copyright seriously, and I ask the same from you. If you suspect someone is using my work without permission or spot an error on my end, please reach out to me. Here’s how you can report it:
- What to Include in Your Email:
- A description of the copyrighted material in question.
- Where the material is being used without permission (links are helpful!).
- Your name, contact information, and a statement confirming you have the authority to make this claim.
Send this info to [email protected], and I’ll handle it ASAP. I aim for fairness and speedy resolution.
5. Updates to This Policy
Things change, and that includes copyright laws and technology. I may update this policy occasionally to stay on top of it all. The “Last Updated” date at the top will tell you when the latest version went live. Keep an eye out, and keep sharing responsibly!
6. External Links (A Portal to Other Worlds)
From time to time, you might find links on my site leading to other awesome places (think blogs, resources, or inspirations). But here’s the thing—once you click those links and leave davidkeyes.com, I can’t control what happens next. Those sites have their own rules, so give their privacy policies a read if you’re curious.
Thanks for Stopping By!
If you’re unsure about anything or want to collaborate on a special project, my inbox is always open. Drop me a message at [email protected]. Creativity thrives on sharing the right way, so thank you for respecting my work!
Now, go explore and get inspired—but play by the rules, alright?
